RE: Red River Diversion
I live on the Minnesota side and have land where the proposed tie-back levee goes. The project would negatively affect my farming. It would also ruin the land where the tie-back levee goes in. Also I farm my Uncle and Aunts land along the river south of Comstock, MN.
All the land I farm has had water on it in the spring but never flooded in the summer. We have never had water in any of our farmyards in the spring.
There must be a better way.
Also, I don’t want to see my fathers Grandparents and Great Grandparents dug up and moved just to protect south Fargo’s swamp.
