The next five months will be the most expensive stage of our legal fight. Expert witnesses, essential to pierce the false narratives being pushed by Fargo, have been retained to testify. These witnesses are necessary to show Fargo rejected better, cost effective flood protection plans in order to promote commercial development of the flood plains north and south of the FM Metro.

Continue ReadingWe have been accused of being against flood control for Fargo and Moorhead, but when we put forward a plan that could lessen the impacts in the counties and utilize the flood plain south of Fargo as a flood plain, it is insinuated that we don’t know or understand what we’re proposing.

Projects of this magnitude always have unintended consequences. Their pattern of behavior says this project is meant to protect Fargo and its future development land and the rhetoric and promises will never be kept.
Continue ReadingThe rules of the meeting were plainly spelled out. We were not to debate the diversion, just seek out information. The request by the DA to meet with them implies a knowledge of impacts that need to be addressed. Possible impacts for this home and other properties in the area outside of the staging/storage area (the Red Box) are acknowledged, but no compensation is provided.
